Being a part of a vibrant community of faith brings great joy to an individual. When they realize God's love for them, declare their love for God, and connect with the Body of Christ, then the next natural step is baptism and membership in the local church.

Baptism is the public declaration of your faith. It is the public announcement that you have responded to the saving love of God through Jesus Christ. Baptism in and of itself does not make someone a Christian; rather, it communicates that a person has already committed his/her heart and life to Christ. At Faith UMC, we practice baptism in whatever manner is comfortable and desirable for the candidate. We sprinkle, pour, or immerse the believer to signify God's salvation. Baptisms are scheduled at various times throughout the year. If you are interested in being baptized, click here.
